Truck Driver Training student receives the SECU "Bridge to Career Scholarship"

Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Truck Driver Training student Brenda McFadden of Conover has received the State Employees' Credit Union "Bridge to Career Scholarship" to help cover the cost of her training. The State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) Foundation established the SECU Bridge to Career Program to help eliminate barriers for students seeking to earn state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials through the workforce continuing education division of their local community college. The award was presented by Megan Woodie, Financial Services Officer at the SECU Granite Falls Branch.
