General Contractor Courses

CCC&TI offers the following general contractor educational opportunities:

  • General Contractor’s License Preparation

    This 60-hour course prepares students for the General Contractor’s licensing examination. Emphasis is placed on blueprints, laws and regulations, employment security laws of NC, and workers’ compensation. Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to sit for the NC Contractor’s licensing examination.

    Cost

    • Cost for the course is $182
    • The approximate cost for the books needed in the General Contractor License Preparation course is between $1,200 - $1,500. During the first class, the instructor will notify students of any other needed materials and where to purchase the required books.
