Before enrolling in any Adult Education class, students 18 years old and younger must complete a Minor Permission Form, included in the enrollment packets. Minors 16-17 years of age holding a current driver’s license must maintain good academic standing and attend class a minimum of 60 hours per month to keep their license valid.
Adult High School applicants must contact their previous high school to request transcript records. Transcripts must be received before a student can be enrolled in the program.
The Adult High School Graduation is held in May of each year. It is the highlight of our spring for both students, faculty and staff. Friends and family members of our graduates join us at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, North Carolina to watch their loved ones cross the stage in cap and gown to receive their Adult High School Diploma.
