This joint program with Richmond Community College will provide the knowledge and skills in the areas necessary for entrance or advancement within emergency communications.
This program can be completed entirely online. Students interested in this program will begin taking their General Education courses through Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute while completing the program core courses through Richmond Community College from which they will graduate with an Associate in Applied Science degree (A55470).

Employment opportunities exist in the public safety telecommunications field with a variety of employers, including local government emergency communications centers, county sheriffs’ offices, local law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies, emergency management and related emergency dispatch operations.
