Much of the success of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, including intercollegiate athletics stems directly from the generosity of benefactors and sponsors. In 1974 CCC&TI started with men's basketball. In the years that followed the college added women's basketball. In the fall of 2018, CCC&TI announced the addition of Baseball and Women's Softball to begin play in Fall 2019.
