Continuing Education Scholarship Opportunities
Continuing Education and Workforce Development has several scholarship opportunities that may be awarded to students
enrolling in programs that meet for 96-hours or more. Apply today to see how these opportunities can help you pursue
your educational goals. Applications can be completed online, or packets can be picked up in Career Connections (F-146)
and at the front desk for Continuing Education (H-106). Completed paper applications need to be returned to the
Continuing Education front desk (H-106) on the Caldwell Campus or to the main desk in the Student Services Center on
the Watauga Campus.
- Dr. HE Beam (up to $250)
- Golden Leaf*
This scholarship is awarded from the Golden Leaf Foundation for continuing education students attending a North
Carolina Community College.
- Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER)
This scholarship is awarded to eligible community college workforce continuing education students pursuing
high-demand workforce training programs within ten workforce pathways. Eligible students applying for this
scholarship must reside in North Carolina, be enrolling in continuing education pathways/courses offered for
96 hours or more and leading to a State or industry-recognized credential. This application is electronic and
can be applied for via www.cccti.edu/GEER

State Employees Credit Union Scholarship may be used for the following continuing education courses:
- Industrial Maintenance
- Electrical Lineworker I & II
- Truck Driving
- #Requires an additional State Employees Credit Union Bridge-to-Career Scholarship application
and data form.
