Continuing Education Scholarship Opportunities

Continuing Education and Workforce Development has several scholarship opportunities that may be awarded to students enrolling in programs that meet for 96-hours or more. Apply today to see how these opportunities can help you pursue your educational goals. Applications can be completed online, or packets can be picked up in Career Connections (F-146) and at the front desk for Continuing Education (H-106). Completed paper applications need to be returned to the Continuing Education front desk (H-106) on the Caldwell Campus or to the main desk in the Student Services Center on the Watauga Campus.

Available scholarships:

• Dr. H. E. Beam (up to $250)

To apply for the Dr. H. E. Beam scholarship, please complete the CEWD Scholarship Application.

• Golden Leaf^*
  This scholarship is awarded from the Golden Leaf Foundation for continuing education students attending a North Carolina Community College.
  • *Requires a Golden Leaf Foundation Scholarship application and waiver form that must be submitted by the semester deadline.
• State Employees Credit Union^#
  State Employees Credit Union Scholarship may be used for the following continuing education courses:
  • Industrial Maintenance
  • Electrical Lineworker I & II
  • Truck Driving

• Wayne J. Miller, Jr. (up to $250)
