Interested in earning your associate's degree or diploma but not sure where to begin? Well, becoming a CCC&TI student may be easier than you think.

Here's how to get started:
  1. Submit Your Application
    • Submit your application online OR submit a paper application
    • Call CCC&TI Student Services at 828.726.2705 (Caldwell Campus) or 828.297.3811 (Watauga Campus) to check your admission status.
  2. Request Copies of your Transcripts
    • Request that an official copy of your high school, GED or Adult High School transcripts be sent to Student Services at CCC&TI.
    • If you have previous college credit from another institution, you'll need to request those transcripts also.
    • Transcript Request Forms are available online.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid
    • Follow these instructions to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms.
  4. Complete Placement Tests
    • Placement tests are not pass or fail but indicate where the student needs to begin their college education successfully.
    • To make an appointment to take your placement tests call 828.726.2719 (Caldwell Campus) or 828.297.2185 (Watauga Campus).
  5. Attend a New Student Advising and Registration Session
    • Students can expect to learn how to use CCC&TI online technology, be advised on course selections, register for classes and check your financial aid status.
    • To schedule a time for an Advising and Registration Session - Sign-up Online or call 828.726.2705 (Caldwell Campus) / 828.297.2185 (Watauga Campus).
  6. Pay your tuition
    • Visit the Business Office page for information on paying your tuition
    • Get a Student ID and parking pass
