Introduction to the World of Computers (Module 1)
This module will help you become familiar with many of the basic concepts regarding information technology, computer software, operating systems, networks, e-mail and the Internet.
Introduction to PC Diagnostics and Configuration (Module 1)
This section of the Institute will help you recognize categories of computer and their functionality, as well as computer hardware components. You will also learn to analyze the motherboard and central processing unit of the computer, how to distinguish memory, how to use a variety of storage devices, input and output devices, and power supply. In this section you will also learn basic troubleshooting and problem solving fundamentals.
Basic Linux Training (Module 1)
Basic Linux Training will give you a general understanding of Open Source Environments, as well as a desktop navigation and installation of Linux Operating Systems. You will learn to perform basic system administration and how to use system utilities and Productivity Applications.
