What is the IT Institute?Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, in partnership with Google Inc., AMP Technologies and other local industries, has developed an Information Technology Institute that provides specialized training for entry-level information technology positions. |

The hands-on institute prepares students for a variety of jobs such as data technicians, technical assistants, etc. Day and evening courses are available, space is limited.
Those Completing the IT Institute will:
- Gain Knowledge of current trends and skills recommended for IT jobs
- Develop a resume in a format recognized by the industry
- Produce a portfolio of work to share with prospective employers
- Learn valuable "soft skills" required for the IT field, including communication, team building and self-management
- Opportunity to refresh IT skills for those with IT degrees
How do I enroll?
- First, contact the Caldwell County JobLink Center at CCC&TI 828-759-4680 to begin the application process
- A gold level Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) through CCC&TI is required for registration
- Registration is first-come, first-served
- Upon successful completion of the IT Institute, applicants will submit their portfolios to the JobLink Center to forward to partners for employment consideration
