KeyTrain & WorkKeys

The KeyTrain system includes targeted, self-paced instruction, pre- and post-assessments. These components can be used to help individuals learn, practice and demonstrate the skills they need to succeed in the jobs and careers they desire. The WorkKeys® Employment System is a comprehensive system for measuring, communicating and improving the common skills (e.g. Reading, Math, Locating Information) required for success in the workplace. WorkKeys identifies basic skills required to be successful in a given position or career.
Keyboarding and Job Search Skills
Students may work at their own pace on resume writing, job search and applications. Students may use Mavis Beacon to enhance their keyboarding skills.
Students will learn basic computer literacy skills to include basic navigational skills, introduction to Microsoft Word and simple formatting.
