Academic Support Centers
Academic Support Centers are available on both Caldwell and Watuaga campuses. The centers offer a variety of free services to enhance students' learning experiences at CCC&TI. These services include:
- Free tutoring in areas such as English, math, accounting, Spanish, biology and more (offerings vary by semester).
- Interactive computer tutorials in a range of subject areas, including English, Math, Reading, Communications, Chemistry and Biology
- Word processing and printers to help students type papers for class
- Internet access
- Video tutorials in Math 050, 060, 070, 080, 151, and 171
- Reading and English labs
- Placement test review materials (including, CPT placement tests and PRAXIS)
- Grammar, writing and study skills workshops
- NCLive and other research databases

Special Needs Assistance
Instructors and tutors are available to assist students if they need help with lab materials, video tutorials, Internet access, etc. Special tutors and software are provided for students with language barriers, vision or hearing impairments, or learning disabilities.
