Watauga Innovation Academy

In partnership with Watauga County Schools, CCC&TI launched the Watauga Innovation Academy in Fall 2015. The academy is a cooperative innovative high school program housed within Watauga High School that gives students from any grade level the opportunity to earn college and high school credit at the same time.

The Watauga Innovation Academy is dual credit partner program of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and Watauga County Schools. Students who apply and are eligible for the WIA will follow a focused pathway with a Four Year, Five Year, or Six Year Plan that produces a high school diploma and a college certificate/degree. Upon graduation, successful students can transfer their credits to a community college or university.
