Loan Information

Federal Stafford Student Loan Program

Loans are available to students who have applied for Federal Student Aid and who show financial need as indicated on the student’s Student Aid Report (SAR).  To apply, complete the Federal Stafford Loan application form in the Financial Aid Office or research your lender of choice on the internet and submit your master promissory note (MPN) online.  If you submit your MPN online, you still have to come by the Financial Aid Office and complete your loan request form.  It is critical that if you apply for a Stafford student loan online, you need to provide the Financial Aid Office with the lender information; otherwise, we will not be aware of your application.

There are two types of Federal Stafford loans:

Subsidized Stafford Loan

Unsubsidized Stafford Loan

Entrance Counseling for New Borrowers
