Disability Services

Disability Services at Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute provide equal access and quality services to all students with disabilities.   The personnel coordinate accommodations and support services to all qualified students with disabilities.

To receive services, the student must provide current documentation from an appropriate licensed professional.  Acceptable documentation includes a medical report, a physician’s statement, a psychological evaluation, or records from the Division of Services for the Blind, Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and/or Vocational Rehabilitation.

Students who need special services must arrange for them through the Academic Support Center well in advance of the time such services are to begin.  The college does not assume responsibility for providing personal attendants or services of a personal nature.

Confidentiality

The college will not share specific information about a disability with anyone, including faculty, without the student's written permission.
