Toyaz Solomon's tip-in of a missed shot with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime gave the visiting Caldwell Cobras a 79-77 win over the Brunswick Dolphins Saturday afternoon.
The victory guaranteed Caldwell a share of the Region 10 Division 1 regular season championship and clinched the top seed and a bye in next month's Region 10 tournament.
Caldwell trailed by as many as 14 points in both halves, before battling back to force overtime. Caldwell swept the regular season series between the top two teams in the region standings. The Cobras won on 87-73 over the Dolphins on January 14 in Hudson.
Pharrell Boyogueno had 16 points to lead Caldwell. Jakari Dula and Brandon Morgan each scored 14, while Solomon added 13 points. Jalen Miller was the last of five Cobras in double-digits, finishing with 10 points.
