Caldwell's rally fell short as the Cobras fell in game two of Saturday's doubleheader at Cleveland. Trailing 5-3 entering the seventh inning, Sydney Ferguson singled then stole second base to get into scoring position. With one out in the inning, there was a 20-minute delay due to the sitting sun interfering with the batter's view. When play resumed, Ferguson tagged up and reached third base on a fly ball to centerfield. She would later score on a wild pitch and Kenley Jackson singled to put the tying run on base. However, the Cobras would fly out to end the game. Zoey Boston went 2-3 in the game with a double, the Cobras' only extra base hit. She finished with two RBI in the game.
