Basic Law Enforcement Training Graduates

In a July 13 ceremony at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute honored 51st graduating class of Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET). Five cadets successfully completed more than 640 hours of training and a rigorous physical exam as well as the standardized state tests. The group achieved a 100-percent passage rate.

The Fall 2021 BLET Academy begins on Aug. 9. To apply, please call 828-726-2750. The deadline to apply is Aug. 1.
