Game Notes: Cobras trailed by ten points (47-37) with under five minutes to play in the third quarter, but went on an 11-0 run to take a 48-47 lead. The Pioneers responded with a 5-2 run to close out the quarter and take a two point lead going into the fourth quarter. SMC lead most of the fourth quarter before a KeyKey Miller three-pointer tied the game at 62 with just over a minute to go. With the game tied at 62 with 51.3 seconds to go, the Cobras had the ball but could not convert. Aliyah Whiteside hit a three-pointer to put the Pioneers ahead for good with just under 30 seconds to go.
Cobras return to action Saturday, February 15 when they travel to Denmark Tech for a 4:00pm tip. The Cobras defeated Denmark Tech 79-56 earlier in the season.
