Region 10 All-Academic Honorees - Fall 2019

2019 Fall Semester Region 10 All-Academic Honorees

Earlier this week, NJCAA Region 10 released its All-Academic honors list for the Fall 2019 semester. A total of 476 student-athletes from Region 10 member institutions were awarded All-Academic honors.

To be named All-Academic, student-athletes must participate in a sport which competes during the Fall semester (basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball, wrestling) and achieve a 3.0 grade point average.

For Region 10, twenty-nine institutions were represented, as well as every fall sport. Louisburg College had the most student-athletes honored with 46 while men's soccer led all sports with 112 student-athletes receiving academic honors.

Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute had eight student-athletes recognized as Region 10 All-Academic from two sports (men’s and women’s basketball).
The following Cobras recognized were:

  • Mikayla Hill - Women's Basketball
  • CoCo Knox - Women's Basketball
  • KeyKey Miller - Women's Basketball
  • Kendra Quarles - Women's Basketball
  • Jalen Crowder - Men's Basketball
  • Demitri Dixon - Men's Basketball
  • Na’Kwan Kitchen - Men's Basketball
  • Jordan Stinson - Men's Basketball

As an institution for the Fall 2019 semester, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute had 104 student-athletes in the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, and softball. Of those 104 students:

  • Seven made CCC&TI’s President’s List (GPA of 4.0)
  • Seventeen students made CCC&TI’s Dean’s List (GPA of 3.5-3.99)

Student-athletes’ overall GPA for the Fall 2019 semester was 2.860 as compared to 2.750 for all other students.
