Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute celebrated nine students from the Truck Driver Training program during a completion ceremony on Friday, March 8 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir.

Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Truck Driver Training students Christopher Massagee, Phillip Youngue and Austin Coffey received the NC State Employees Credit Union "Bridge to Career Scholarship" to help cover the cost of their training. The State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) Foundation established the SECU Bridge to Career Program to help eliminate barriers for students seeking to earn state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials through the workforce continuing education division of their local community college.
