Watauga High School students enrolled in this summer’s Camp Med program, sponsored by Northwest Area Health Education Center and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, visited Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute's Watauga Campus in Boone Thursday.
Their visit included a tour of campus as well as information on various health care careers and study options at CCC&TI. Students participated in hands-on activities and information sessions on Nursing, Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Assisting, Nurse Aide and Massage Therapy, all of which are offered at the Watauga Campus. The students also learned about programs offered on the Caldwell Campus in Hudson, N.C.
