SkillsUSA Gold Medal Winners

CCC&TI students Rebecca Silvas and Paul Trigger won the gold medal, first place in the nation, in the Mobile Robotic Technology (Post- Secondary) competition. The duo took first place in the statewide competition in April for the right to compete at the national level.

Also competing in the Post-Secondary division, Larry Milam, took 15th place in the Technical Drafting competition. Blevins had won first place in the statewide competition in April to earn the right to compete at the national level. Blevins graduated from CCC&TI in May with an Associate Degree in Electrical Systems Technology.

The faculty advisors for both competitions were Susan Deal, director of the Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical Engineering programs, and Instructor Tom Mendenhall.
