CCC&TI to Offer Courses on the African-American Experience

CCC&TI is offering a special block of courses this Fall for those interested in African-American studies. The course grouping entitled “The African-American Experience” will feature three courses, one each in sociology, humanities and English with a focus on African-American topics.

Specific courses to be offered include Sociology 220-101: Social Problems. This course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Humanities 160-101 Introduction to Film will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. English 273-101: African American Literature will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Registration for Fall 2017 classes begins on April 6. Final registration is Aug. 4. Fall semester classes begin on Aug. 14.
