Daisyah Sturgill, a 2016 West Iredell High School graduate, recently signed with Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute's women's basketball team. Sturgill, who is 5-foot-5, averaged 5 rebounds per game her senior year. CCC&TI Women's Head Coach Alicia Abernathy said Sturgill has hustle and heart, and can play multiple positions. "She's the player that gets the rebound," Abernathy said.
