After completing his Associate in Arts degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute this summer, Bennett Wilson of Newberry, S.C., will transfer to Mars Hill University to complete his education and college basketball career. He signed his letter of intent in the CCC&TI gym on June 28. Bennett, who came to CCC&TI from Wallace State Community College, was a key member of this year's NJCAA Division III Region X champion team. His season high performance was Jan. 14 at Kings University JV, where he scored 25 points.
CCC&TI Head Coach Matt Anderson said that Wilson will have two years of eligibility left and will attend Mars Hill on a scholarship.
