Sy-tasia Brown to play for the CCC&TI Lady Cobras

Sy-tasia Brown signed her letter of intent to play for the CCC&TI Lady Cobras

The Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Women's Basketball team has signed another talented local player for the 2016-2017 season. St. Stephens High School power forward/center Sy-tasia Brown signed her letter of intent Monday to play for the CCC&TI Lady Cobras. Head Coach Alicia Abernathy describes Brown as a big presence in the middle. "She's a bruiser who can shoot and rebound," Abernathy said. "You always need that kind of player." As a senior at St. Stephens, the 5-foot-10 Brown averaged nearly 10 points and more than 10 rebounds per game, according to MaxPreps.com. She led the team in rebounding and field goal shooting percentage.
