Google Tutorial - Google Groups

Groups (accessed at http://groups.google.com/) allow the user to search, read or post messages on thousands of discussion forums. Forum groups are organized by discipline. Find a specific group by:

• browsing categories; or
• typing a query into the Google Groups search bar.

When viewing results, the search query will be highlighted:

1. within the listing; and
2. wherever it appears in the text.

Many groups require membership registration.

Note: This feature is in beta, which means it's still in a testing phase. Some features in the Google Groups area may not work as expected.
