Distance Learning Support
Access for Distance Learning Students
Distance Learning students may apply for a library card and its accompanying privileges in one of two ways:
- Visit the LRC in person, complete a short application and provide proof of registration (preferred method if you are on campus); or
- Complete and submit the online library card request form.
Most Distance Learning students will log in to
NCLive resources (the State-sponsored online database) via remote access. Because this resource is
available only to North Carolina's college students and community library patrons, a password must be
assigned by the State Library each semester. Distance Learning students may request this password
information, again, in one of two ways:
- Visit the LRC in person, obtain or update your library card, and request a hand-out providing the password; or
- Complete and submit the online NCLive password request form.
