Overview
Caldwell County Schools, Watauga County Schools and Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute have long enjoyed many successful partnerships. Driven to meet the needs of a changing community, the Public School System and Caldwell Community College have teamed up to offer new programming that will expand choices and offer the most relevant training for today's workforce.
Students now have more choices in education than ever before, whether they are college-bound or plan to enter the workforce directly after high school graduation. A Caldwell county student may choose to apply to Early College or Middle College, or students from both Caldwell and Watauga counties may choose to simply remain at their traditional high school and take either Huskins, Learn and Earn Online (LEO), or Dual Enrollment courses to get a head start on their college education or post-secondary training. Students in both counties may also choose to begin one of three college certificate programs that can be completed immediately upon high school graduation.
