Transition Advisement

What is Transition Advisement?

Transition Advisement is a special program within the Department of Counseling and Advisement Services at CCC&TI. This program was developed as the result of a cooperative arrangement between the community college and the public schools of Caldwell and Watauga counties in an effort to accomplish three goals:

Goals

Encourage the pursuit of education beyond high school
Promote increased academic rigor within the public high schools by encouraging students to participate in Huskins, Dual Enrollment, and Learn & Earn Online (LEO) courses
Assist with the drop-out recovery efforts by promoting completion of the Adult High School Diploma or attainment of a GED

CCC& TI has placed a Transition Advisor at each of the public high schools in Caldwell and Watauga counties. If you would like to learn more about our services please contact the Transition Advisor assigned to your school. Below is a listing of the Transition Advisors.
