Director, Distance Learning

Position is contingent upon funding

Description

Provides leadership in the vision for Distance Learning, including the development, refinement, marketing and evaluation of Distance Learning courses. Provides training in Distance Learning Course development.

Training:
Bachelor's degree (or near completion of Bachelor's degree) required. BS or BA in computer information systems, educational technology or information technologies preferred.

Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in administering BlackBoard and/or managing distance learning or video conferencing preferred. Prior supervisory experience and assisting in curriculum development preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products required.

Length of contract

12 months

Salary

Salary will be based upon institutional salary plan.  Excellent benefits.
