Institutional Researcher

Description

Performs independent statistical and analytical institutional research with a high degree of accuracy; extracts data and provides aggregation, analysis and summarization of a wide variety of data used in decision-making and planning; organizes, prioritizes, evaluates and responds to ad hoc requests from the institution and the community; provides survey administration and analysis; provides statistical research for external funding proposals; develops various documents for publication and correspondence and performs a variety of confidential professional tasks.

Training:
Bachelor’s degree in social science, business administration, computer science, or a related field required.

Experience:
Experience or coursework in statistical analysis, research design, structure and query/report writing required. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel required. Two years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in secondary or post-secondary education setting preferred; experience in institutional research and use of SAS and SPSS preferred.
