Online Writing Center Instructor/Instructional Designer – Caldwell Campus

Position is contingent upon funding

Description

Provides leadership for the development, planning, and implementation of  the online writing center.  Facilitates online and seated writing consultations.  Coordinates and develops multimedia resources to enhance online writing center services and course instruction.  Provides professional development for faculty.  This position is a 40 hour per week administrative position with a teaching load   5-10 contract hours each fall and spring semester as needed.

Experience
Experience in instructional technology or multimedia design required.  Experience teaching as a community college an online writing center experience preferred.

Training
Master’s degree in composition and rhetoric or related discipline from an accredited college or university with additional coursework in composition and rhetoric.

Length of contract

12 months

Salary

Salary will be based upon institutional salary plan.  Excellent benefits.
