Maintenance Assistant

Position is contingent upon funding

Description

To assist in the performance of a variety of duties involved in the skilled maintenance and repair of the college facilities and grounds; to perform a variety of technical duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Training:
Completion of the twelfth grade. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Experience:
No experience required.

Knowledge of:

Basic principles and practices of plumbing and restroom repair.
Basic Principles and techniques of heating and ventilation unit repairs.
Basic principles and procedure in working with electricity.
Methods of operation of a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, hammers, and routers.

Length of contract

12 months

Salary

Salary will be based upon institutional salary plan. Excellent benefits.
