Job Summary
The JobsNOW Coordinator will serve as a contact for the JobsNOW Initiative, a program which is designed to develop and provide short-term occupational skills training. This person will have a strong presence at the JobLink Career Centers in Caldwell and Watauga Counties and will be responsible for program management assistance, record keeping, and reporting, and student recruitment/retention. This is an approximately 30-hour per week temporary position that will last approximately 12-14 months; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Training:
Associates Degree required. Bachelors degree in related field or Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience:
Experience working directly with adult student populations preferred. Experience and competence in the CRC/WorkKeys Assessments, and experience working collaborative with various agencies in establishing and implementing program functions preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and proficiency in computer, data entry, and accurate record-keeping skills
