Served in the United States Marine Corps 4 years and received an Honorable Discharge. Marcus transferred from Catawba Valley Community College where he averaged 13 points per game and 5 boards last season. His goal is to graduate from Caldwell this year and attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He hopes to play on their junior varsity basketball team. After college, Marcus plans to become a high school basketball coach and physical education instructor.
