Emergency Management helps to protect communities by coordinating activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual disasters.
The mission of the Emergency Management program is to provide students effective instruction and essential skills to prepare them with a foundation of technical and professional knowledge needed for emergency services delivery in local, state, and federal government agencies.
The Emergency Management Program is an online program that can be completed in as little as two years. The course of study involves both management and technical aspects of law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medical services, and emergency management. There are no additional costs for this program outside of tuition, fees, books, and supplies. For more information about course descriptions, refer to the current CCC&TI Course Catalog.

Employment opportunities include ambulance services, fire/rescue agencies, law enforcement agencies, fire marshal offices, industrial firms, educational institutions, emergency management offices, and other government agencies.
