The Automotive Systems Technology curriculum prepares individuals for employment as Automotive Services Technicians. It provides an introduction to automotive careers and increases student awareness of the challenges associated with this fast and ever-changing field. Classroom and lab experience integrate technical and academic course work.
Upon completion of this curriculum, students should be prepared to take the ASE exam and qualify for full-time employment in dealerships and repair shops in the automotive service industry.

The DOL's Occupational Outlook Handbook states, "Employment of automotive service technicians and mechanics is projected to grow 9 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Job opportunities for qualified jobseekers should be very good."
CCC&TI is a Suburu-University partner institution. This partnership allows CCC&TI’s nationally accredited automotive systems curriculum to also include Subaru’s web-based, manufacturer-specific vehicle systems training. The additional training prepares CCC&TI students for possible employment with a Subaru retailer or with any automotive service center that performs work on Subaru vehicles.
